SUMMARY:Affordable Housing Tenant Policy Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Placer County is seeking community feedback on a potential Affordable Housing Priority Applicant Policy countywide. Staff will be hosting a pair of meetings to hear from residents and answer questions about the potential policy\, beginning Sept. 30 in North Lake Tahoe and continuing Oct. 2 in Auburn. \nMany jurisdictions throughout California are implementing similar tenant preference policies to help prioritize certain applicant groups for affordable housing to ensure local housing needs are met.
